Wehrmacht M31 Shelter Quarter (Zeltbahn 31). The shelter quarter served buttoned together to form a four-man tent (or larger), it could also be worn as a poncho to give protection against rain, and it served as camouflage during a battle. It is made of tightly woven cotton drill with the "splitter pattern" camouflage, which showed light colors on one side and dark colors on the other. This example is still showing stunning bright colours. The shelter quarter unfortunately is missing all buttons. The Zeltbahn is nicely maker marked by the 'Textilwerk Fulda' and dated 1943. Apart from the missing buttons, the shelter quarter is in stunning mint and unissued condition!
