World War 1 Non-Combatant Iron Cross 2nd class (Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse für Nichtkämpfer), in original presentation case. Re-instituted by King Wilhelm II on 5 August 1914 for award during WWI. The cross has a three piece construction and has a magnetic core. The cross is maker marked with a 'EW' indicating production by an unknown manufacturer. The cross comes with it's original 21cms long sized ribbon as intended for non-combatant, nicely stored in a privately purchased type presentation case. The black coloured etui is showing minimal traces of usage. Nice and hard to find original set in very good condition!
