WH (Heer) Death Notice
This is a death notice for Leutnant 'Josef Stautner'. He was killed in action on 17 August 1944 at the western front. According to the 'Volksbund' information, Josef was buried at Fort-de-Malmaison cemetry in France (near Reims). Interesting original death notice with photograph!

US Waterproof Rifle Cover. These were used on D-day and other amphibious operations to keep water and sand out of the troops' weapons during landings. The soft plastic bag will fit a M1 Garand, .30 Carbine or Springfield. The bag is dated August 1943. Nice example in mint and unissued condition!
DJ 'Oberhordenführer' Armbadge
DJ (Deutsches Jungvolk) 'Oberhordenführer' Arm Badge (Ärmelabzeichen). These rank-badges were also used within the Marine HJ: the rank signified was then: 'Marine-HJ-Oberrottenführer'. The badge is in clearly used and tunic removed condition!

'Nederlandsche Arbeidsdienst' (Dutch labour service) miniature sports medal. The miniature medal shows the NAD motto: 'Ick Dien' (I serve) and a spade with a capital 'S' (signifying 'sport'). Complete with original ribbon. Nice original example!
