Late war K98 M34 Cleaning Kit, complete with contents (Reinigungsgerät 34 mit Inhalt). When issued the K98 came accompanied with assorted accessory items including a sling, a cleaning rod, a protective muzzle cover and a M34 cleaning kit that was officially introduced on 4 September 1934 and was utilized with all bolt action rifles. The cleaning kit is nicely maker marked and dated with 'arr4', indicating production by the 'Braunsweigische Blechwarenfabrik G.m.b.H.'. The kit is painted in the late war tan (Dunkelgelb) colour. The kit is complete with a stamped steel oiler, 2 brushes and a late-war type chain. Nice and scarce original set in good used condition!
