MG 34/42 50 Round Drum Magazine
MG34 or MG42 50 Round Drum Magazine (Gurttrommel 34). The drum was capable of carrying a 50 round ammunition belt and could be mounted on the machinegun. The drum retains most of its original late war blue-grey coloured paint and shows some surface rust and scratches caused by usage. The box is nicely maker marked 'ddf' indicating production by the 'Lohmann-Werke AG' from Bielefeld. Nice example in good condition!
MG34 of MG42 munitietrommel voor 50 patronen (Gurttrommel 34). De trommel was geschikt voor een 50 schots patroonband en kon op het machinegeweer geplaatst worden. De trommel bevat nog het grootste deel van zijn originele laat oorlogse blauw-grijze verf en toont wat roest en krasjes door gebruik. De trommel is mooi maker gemarkeerd met 'ddf' wat duidt op productie door het 'Lohmann-Werke AG' from Bielefeld. Mooi exemplaar in goede staat!
