German Spare Barrel Carrier Model 1943 (Laufschützer 43) as introduced in 1943 for use with both the MG34 or M42 type of barrels. The fieldgrey painted barrel carrier is nicely maker marked and dated 'brc 43' indicating production in 1943. It is complete with its original canvas carrying sling, the sling is showing clear traces of usage but still strongly attached. Nice and hard to find original example in good used condition!
