Wehrmacht Medical Backpack (Sanitätstornister). A large white leather roundel with a red cross is stiched on the top flap. The backpack is complete with both leather carrying straps, the protective mess kit pouch is still present. The backpack is complete with its original Leather Short Strap (Koppelhaken für Tornister). The backpack was hooked onto the leather waist-belt with this short leather strap. The backpack is nicely maker marked by the company of 'Sachs & Deiselberg' from Hamburg and dated 1938. These medical backpacks are very rare and hard to find. Rare original early pre-war medical backpack in good used condition!
