Description
WH (Heer) Gascape Pouch (Gasplane Tasche). The shoulder sling of the gas mask was put through two loops at the rear of the pouch, and the pouch was worn on the chest. This method proved not to be very practical. During the war a frequent way of wear was to fasten the pouch around the gas mask canister. The fieldgrey canvas pouch is faintly maker marked. One of the snaps is missing the cover, see close-up. Nice original pouch in good used condition!
