Rare larger type German World War 1 / Wehrmacht 10 x 50 Binoculars (Doppelfernrohr). This is a World War 1 period military  10x50 (Dialyt 10x) binoculars, the serial number indicates production around 1914. These binoculars were still in use during World War 2 by the Wehrmacht, these larger type binoculars were issued to specialized personnel such as panzer observers. The binoculars are in complete condition, the 'Bakelite' eyecups are slightly damaged. The Binoculars are nicely maker marked by the company of 'Hensoldt' from Wetzlar. The binoculars are in good used condition, the optics are clear. The binoculars are complete with their original repaired leather carrying strap and leather rain-cover, the rain-cover is matching maker marked by 'Hensoldt' and dated 1938 indicating reissue during World War 2. A nice and honest piece of equipment!
