Dutch 'Buitenmodel' Overseas Cap (Veldmuts voor Manschappen). This is a privately purchased overseas cap made of high quality fieldgrey wool. This is an overseas cap without piping which indicates a soldier's rank. The cap is complete with leather sweatband, a paper tailor label is sewn on the inside of the sweatband. The overseas cap has some normal traces of usage and some minor (moth)damages, see photos. The cap belonged to Dutch Infantry soldier 'Hein van der Voet' from Warmond and originates directly from his family.
