EU-Deactivated US .30 M1 Carbine. The carbine is nicely maker marked by 'IBM' (International Business Machine Corp.), one of the lesser seen manufacturers. The carbine is marked with serial number #3898178 indicating production between January 1944 and March 1944. The barrel is showing some markings indicating that the carbine has been reissued in the post-war Dutch Police. The carbine has been deactivated conform the requirements of the common minimum technical specifications set out in Annex I from the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2018/337 and comes with a Dutch Police Certificate of Deactivation. This carbine is free to own for EU citizens, aged over 18 years. We will sell this carbine only to people above the age of 18 (with proof) within the EU (please check your country's regulations before purchasing). The operating slide is movable. The carbine comes with an in my opinion late or early post-war sling. Nice original WW2 US .30 M1 Carbine in good condition!
