NJS - 'Jeugdstorm' Overseas Cap (Karpoets). The 'Nationale Jeugdstorm' (NJS) was a Dutch youth movement shortly before and during World War II, inspired by the German Hitler Youth. The organization was formally separate from, but in practicehad close ties with the NSB. This is a typical so-called 'Karpoets' which was the overseas cap worn by NJS members, the cap is made of astrakan and having an orange cotton top. The cap is complete with its original cap-badge on blue wool, the cap badge is showing the NJS gull. The bage is complete with both prongs and original blue woolen backing. Scarce original NJS overseas cap in very good condition!
