NSB - WA 'Bloembollenmarsch 1942' Medal. The Dutch "Nationaal-Socialistische Beweging" (National Socialist Movement) was founded by 'Anton Mussert' in December 1931 and was a Dutch pro-German Nazi Party. The medal was awarded to NSB and WA members who had completed the 40 km march. The badge is marked on the back with 'Bloembollen-Marsch' and the date 1942. The zinc-based medal retains most of its original golden finish. Normally these medals are issued on a ribbon, this is a rare variant which comes with an original attached pin-back system, this is the first such example I've ever seen. Rare original NSB medal in good used condition!
