NSB 'Strijd Offer' (Battle Sacrifice) Table Medal or Plaque (Legpenning) & Badge (Draagteken). This table-medal was awarded to relatives in memory of deceased NSB members. The table-medal shows the enamelled 'Strijd Offer' badge in the center of a laurel wreath with mourning ribbon with the text "STRIJD OFFER". Underneath is space for engraving the name of the deceased/fallen NSB member. The table medal is marked 'CA' which is the signature of the designer 'Chris Agterberg'. The plaque is sized approximately 7 x 5,5 cms. The enamel badge has been riveted to the plaque, the badge has a totally undamaged, enamelled surface. The plaque comes together with the original badge (Draagteken), the badge is complete with a functional pin-back system. The badge is showing the unique engraved number '1779'. The set was found together recently. Both the badge and plaque are in stunning condition. Rare original set!
