Wehrmacht (Heer) K98 Dress Bayonet (Extraseitengewehr). This is a private purchase version of the S84/98 bayonet for dress wear. This is the short model for Officer's ranks. The bayonet was, accompanied by a bayonet frog, to be worn on the reverse left side of the load carrying waist belt. The blade is in good condition, the blade is maker marked by 'E. Pack & Söhne' from Solingen. The scabberd has been repainted. Nice original dress bayonet in good used condition!
