Named Kriegsmarine Uniform Grouping
Kriegsmarine Uniform Grouping. This is a naval issue tunic grouping consisting of a pair of trousers (Klapphose) and tunic (Collani) as found together, the grouping is named to sailor called 'Theuerkauf'. Both the trousers and collani are marked with the soldier's service number 'N2454S/35' indicating a 'Nordsee' service number and date 1935. Both the trousers and collani are marked with a 'B.A.W.' (Bekleidungs Amt Wilhelmshaven) stamp and dated 1935. The tunic is in good condition and complete with hand-embroidered breast-eagle and a 'Marineartillerie' sleeve patch and Obergefreiter's rank chevron both nicely hand-sewn to the wearer's left upper-sleeve. The matching pants are a so-called 'Klapphose'. Both the tunic and pants are having a name tag with the name 'Theuerkauf'.I found a photo inside the pocket most likely showing the sailor in his tunic. Nice original Kriegsmarine grouping as found together. This will make a nice display!
