WH (Heer) Infantry Unterfeldwebel's Tunic
Wehrmacht (Heer) early style tunic (Dienstrock Alter Art) as intended for an 'Unterfeldwebel' within the Infantry. This is a nice quality, 'privately purchased', early style field-grey wool tunic with dark-green collar. The buttons are all the nickel-silver pebbled examples. The tunic is complete with all original applied insignia, including a nice early style BeVo-woven breast-eagle, shoulder straps of the sew-in type and nicely machine-sewn collar tabs. Both the collar tabs and shoulder-straps are piped in the white 'Truppenfarbe' (branch colour) indicating the 'Infanterie' (Infantry). The shoulder-straps are showing the numerals 'IX' probably indicating the 'IX Armeekorps'. The tunic is in overall good used condition with some minor damage and some staining, see photos for details. The tunic comes together with an original DRA Sports Badge having a repaired catch and a WW1 Veteran's Ribbon-Bar as found together. Nice original early white piped Infantry tunic in good used condition!
