The German army used a wide variety of optical enhancement items with the 6 x 30 power binoculars being the standard issue optics utilized by all branches of service. This bakelite case is intended for storage of the standard 6 x 30 binoculars. The speckled brown bakelite case is in good used condition and there is a marking on the bakelite. The metal parts are slightly rusted. The case is complete with its often missing original leather carrying strap. The case can be carried on the belt as well. The maker markings are hard to read.
