WH (Heer) Zeltbahn 31
Wehrmacht M31 Shelter Quarter (Zeltbahn 31). The shelter quarter served buttoned together to form a four-man tent (or larger), it could also be worn as a poncho to give protection against rain, and it served as camouflage during a battle. It is made of tightly woven cotton drill with the "splitter pattern" camouflage, which showed light colors on one side and dark colors on the other. This example is still showing bright colours and is made of different shades of camouflage material. It looks to be complete with all original steel type dish-buttons and one all three original ropes. The Zeltbahn is not visible maker marked. It is showing some minor staining caused by storage, see photos. Nice original Zeltbahn in very good condition!
Wehrmacht Tentzeil (Zeltbahn 31). Het Duitse tentzeil was bedoeld om met 4 personen een tent voor 4 personen te vormen. Andere functies waren het gebruik als poncho tegen de regen of als camouflage tijdens een gevecht. Het tentzeil is standaard uitrusting van gewoven katoen in de standaard splinter camouflage. Lichte kleuren aan de ene zijde en donkere kleuren op de andere. Dit exemplaar toont nog mooie kleuren en is gemaakt van verschillende stukken camouflage materiaal. Het tentzeil lijkt compleet te zijn met al zijn originele bakelite knopen en de drie touwen. Het tentzeil is mooi maker gemarkeerd. Het tentzeil vertoont wat minimale vlekken door jaren van opslag, zie foto's. Erg mooi origineel tentzeil in erg goede staat!
