Luftwaffe DD M35 Combat Helmet
Luftwaffe Double Decal M35 Combat Helmet (Stahlhelm M35). The stamped sheet steel construction M35 helmet retains almost all of its early Luftwaffe-gray paint, the paint is showing scratches and normal traces of usage. Both decals are in good condition with some normal damage and scratches caused by usage, the early first pattern drooptail Luftwaffe eagle is present for about 90%, the national shield for about 75%. All three liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet is an early M31 leather liner with reinforced aluminum liner-ring, all eight fingers are present, the liner is a size '57'. The liner is maker marked by 'Metall Lederverarbeitung WZ Bln.Ch'burg' and dated 1939. The liner is complete with original liner cord. The shell is marked with maker and size 'ET64'. 'ET' is indicating production by the company of 'Eisen-und Hüttenwerke, AG' from Thale/Harz. The reverse interior neck guard apron has a stamped serial number '4256'. The helmet is complete with its original leather chinstrap with aluminum roller-buckle. Stunning original early M35 DD Luftwaffe helmet in good used condition, these are getting increasingly hard to find!
Luftwaffe M35 Gevechtshelm met 2 plaatjes (Stahlhelm M35). De gestanste plaat stalen M35 helm bevat nog het grootste deel van zijn originele vroege Luftwaffe-grijze verf, de helm vertoont krassen en normale gebruikssporen. Het vroege eerste model Luftwaffe decal is nog voor ongeveer 90% aanwezig, het nationale schildje voor ongeveer 75%. Alle drie de splitpennen zijn intact en aanwezig. Het vroege binnenwerk van de helm is een vroeg M31 leren binnenwerk met een verstevigde aluminium binnenwerk-ring, alle acht leren vingers zijn aanwezig, het binnenwerk is een maat '57'. Het binnenwerk is maker gemarkeerd met 'Metall Lederverarbeitung WZ Bln.Ch'burg' en 1939 gedateerd. Het binnenwerk is compleet met het originele touwtje. De helmschaal is gemarkeerd met maker en maat 'ET64'. 'ET' is de code van de firma 'Eisen-und Hüttenwerke, AG' uit Thale/Harz. Achterin de binnenzijde van de nek van de helm staat het lot-nummer '4256' gestanst. De helm is compleet met zijn originele leren kinriempje met aluminium gespje. Prachtige originele vroege M35 DD Luftwaffe helm in goede gebruikte staat, deze zijn steeds moeilijker te vinden!
