Luftwaffe Flight EM/NCO's Visor Cap
This is a nice original Luftwaffe Flight/FJ EM/NCO's Visor Cap (Schirmmütze). Visor caps were a standard item for all armed forces personnel during the Third Reich period. Although enlisted personnel were issued their caps from government supplies they were also permitted to purchase privately tailored caps. This is privately purchased visor cap, the sweatdiamond is present and nicely maker marked by the famous tailor 'Robert Lubstein' from Berlin and dated 1938, the cap is size 54½ marked. The cap is having the yellow 'Truppenfarbe' (branch-colour) for paratrooper (Fallschirmjäger) and/or Flight personnel (Fliegendes Personal). The leather sweatband is in good condition and showing some nice ink markings, see photos. The cap is complete with its original early aluminum cap-eagle and cocarde. The eagle is a first pattern eagle with drooptail. The simulated leather chinstrap is in good condition. The cap shows normal traces of usage with some minor damages, the cap has a nice so-called 'Sattelform' shape. Nice original Luftwaffe visor cap in good used condition!
