Luftwaffe Flight EM/NCO's Visor Cap
Luftwaffe Flight/FJ EM/NCO's Visor Cap (Schirmmütze). Visor caps were a standard item for all armed forces personnel during the Third Reich period. Although enlisted personnel were issued their caps from government supplies they were also permitted to purchase privately tailored caps. This is privately purchased visor cap, the sweatdiamond is nicely marked by the tailor 'Sport Glockner' from Freiburg/Br, the cap is not visible size marked. The cap is named to a soldier named 'Kern'. The cap is having the yellow 'Truppenfarbe' (branch-colour) for paratrooper (Fallschirmjäger) and/or Flight personnel (Fliegendes Personal). The simulated leather sweatband is in partly damaged condition, see photos. The visor has been partly repaired/reinforeced with glue. The cap is complete with its original early aluminum cap-eagle and cocarde, the eagle is missing one prong. The simulated leather chinstrap is in good condition. The cap shows normal traces of usage and is having a nice shape. Nice original Luftwaffe visor cap in good used condition!
