This is a nice original Luftwaffe Flight/FJ EM/NCO's Visor Cap (Schirmmütze). Visor caps were a standard item for all armed forces personnel during the Third Reich period. Although enlisted personnel were issued their caps from government supplies they were also permitted to purchase privately tailored caps. This is privately purchased visor cap, the sweatdiamond is present and nicely marked 'R.K.B., Beste deutsche Facharbeit'. The cap is having the yellow 'Truppenfarbe' (branch-colour) for paratrooper (Fallschirmjäger) and/or Flight personnel (Fliegendes Personal). The grey simulated leather sweatband is in good used condition, see photos. The cap is complete with its original alumum cocarde, the first pattern eagle with drooptail is in my opinion a post-war replacement and not original, this can easily be replaced. The simulated leather chinstrap is in good condition. The cap shows normal traces of usage with some minor damages, the cap has a nice so-called 'Sattelform' shape. Nice original Luftwaffe visor cap in good condition, priced accordingly because of the replaced cap eagle!
