Dutch M16 Combat Helmet
Dutch M16 Combat Helmet (Stalen Helm Model 16A). The stamped sheet steel construction M16 helmet retains most of it's original green paint. All liner retaining rivets are intact. The interior of the helmet is a leather liner complete with original liner-cord, the felt protection pads are present, however slightly moth damaged. The leather of the liner is still in good supple condition. The liner is nicely 'CM' (Centraal Magazijn) marked and looks to be dated 1924, the marking is hard to read. The helmet is complete with it's original leather chinstrap. There are some normal damages and scratches caused by usage, see photos. Nice original early model Dutch combat helmet in very good condition!
Nederlandse M16 Gevechtshelm (Stalen Helm Model 16A). De gestanste plaat stalen M16 helm bevat nog het grootste deel van zijn originele groene verf. Alle splitpennen zijn intact en aanwezig. Het binnenwerk van de helm is een leren binnenwerk, compleet met origineel koordje, de vilten beschermings pads zijn nog aanwezig maar hebben wel lichte motschade. Het lederen binnenwerk is nog in goede soepele staat. Het binnenwerk is mooi gemarkeerd met 'CM' (Centraal Magazijn) en lijkt 1924 gedateerd, de markering is lastig te lezen. De helm is compleet met originele leren kinriem. De helm heeft wat normale krasjes/schade veroorzaakt door gebruik, zie foto's. Mooi originele vroege Nederlandse gevechtshelm in erg goede staat!
