This is a nice original early stainless steel and aluminum construction cutlery set (Essbesteck), consisting of a 'Gabel' (Fork), 'Löffel' (Spoon), 'Messer' (Knife) and a 'Dosenöffner' (can-opener). All 4 parts are nicely marked with standard type Heeres eagles and/or maker marked and dated 'W.A.L.43' indicating production in 1943. The set is showing normal traces of usage. A nice hard to find piece to be stored in a soldiers or officers bread-bag!
