Luftwaffe Summer Flak EM's Visor Cap (Sommerschirmmütze). Visor caps were a standard item for all armed forces personnel during the Third Reich period. Although enlisted personnel were issued their caps from government supplies they were also permitted to purchase privately tailored caps. This is privately purchased white-topped summer visor cap, there is no sweatdiamond present in this type, the size '57' is written with pencil inside the white top. The cap is having the red 'Truppenfarbe' (branch-colour) for personnel serving within the Flakartillerie. The cap is complete with it's original aluminum cap-eagle, cocarde and blackened leather chinstrap as found. The cap is in good used condition and showing some normal traces of usage. The leather sweatband is regrettably in damaged condition, see photos. Overall a very nice original Luftwaffe white-topped summer visor cap in good condition!
