World War 1
Early Reichswehr Marching Boots
Reichswehr period M1866 German Marching Boots (Marschstiefel). The boots are showing size '27' markings and some numbers most likely indicating production in 1932. This is the best pair of M1866 marching boots I've ever seen, mint condition!
Cased WW1 Iron Cross 2nd Class
WW1 Iron Cross 2nd Class (Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse). The 'WILM' marked cross comes with its original ribbon, nicely stored in a privately purchased type maroon-red coloured presentation case. Nice and decorative original set in very good condition!
4-Piece 'Bandspange'
4-piece 'Bandspange' for the WW1 Iron Cross 2nd Class, an Austrian Medal, the Hindenburg Cross with Swords and the Westwall Medal. This is larger 10cms wide version. Nice 'Bandspange' to upgrade an officer's tunic with!
2 Prussian Merit Crosses for War Aid
Set of 2 Prussian Merit Crosses for War Aid being very interesting from a collector's point of view, one cross is a regular production cross, the second cross is showing a production failure having the suspension ring attached in a wrong position, see photos.
'Franz Ritter von Epp' Portrait Photgraph
Nice original World War 1 period portrait photograph, depicting 'Franz Ritter von Epp'. For his war service, Epp received numerous medals, of which the Pour le Mérite (29 May 1918) was the most significant. Nice and decorative original postcard!
