Wehrmacht Helmet Chinstrap (Stahlhelm Sturmriemen). This is a two piece, dark brown leather construction helmet chinstrap. Complete with aluminum buckle and both aluminum studs. The early chinstrap is nicely maker marked by 'O. Reichel' from Langefeld and dated 1938. The strap is in used condition and has been slightly period shortened, see photos. The leather is still supple, the strap can easily be placed on a helmet. Perfect for completing an early M35 helmet. Rare and hard to find original early chinstrap!
